Relief Society Presidency Message

Dear Sisters of South Shore,
To truly follow the Savior, we must reach beyond ourselves and respond to the needs of others–the insecure, the heartbroken, the lonely, the aged, and the handicapped. Each of us needs to be appreciated, respected and loved. In this important respect we are more alike than different. No two people are exactly alike. President David O. McKay once said, “From birth to death men differ. They vary as do flowers in the garden. In intellect, in temperament, in energy, and in training. Some rise to one level and some to another. As we become better acquainted with others, two things happen. First, the differences between us diminish, and second, we learn to love and appreciate people of differing personalities, even prizing their uniqueness.”
With much love, South Shore Relief Society Presidency,
Danielle Arnett, Gina Gonzales, Gale Saley, & Gloria Buchanan

Visiting Teaching
To encourage a more successful experience with visiting teaching, should you require a VT companion, please contact your visiting teaching district supervisor or any member of the Relief Society presidency.
Visiting teachers are asked to contact their visiting teaching district supervisor each month as soon as their visiting teaching is completed.
District Supervisors are asked to turn in their reports to the VT leader as soon as they are received, or they will be contacted by the VT leader on or about the 25th of each month and asked to obtain their reports. Although all visiting teachers have the entire month to complete their visits, this call can also serve as a final reminder to all to finish up and report in. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
